So I'm retired Joe Citizen, never a business owner. This proposal of removing income tax got me thinking, and I was amazed at that process....workers not having to pay taxes means more personal disposable income - which equates to having it available for dining out, taking family on vacations ( motel, gas, meals, carnival fun - purchases of home,car, and clothing, in other words, a lot more movement of dollars thru local businesses. Taking govt hands off those dollars and placing them directly into the economic cycle has to be far more effective then routing them thru the IRS. Count me all in!
