Trump’s patience is gone — and so might be Iran’s nukes
A shift is happening inside the White House… and the bombs are getting fueled.
Good Morning its Friday, June 20th, 2025.
The tone has changed — fast. After days of backchannel diplomacy, Trump is now “increasingly warm” to military strikes on Iran, with tanker planes already in position. The big question isn’t if the U.S. will get involved — it’s when.

Trump Leans Toward U.S. Military Strikes on Iran
President Trump is inching closer to green-lighting U.S. airstrikes against Iranian nuclear facilities, according to officials familiar with the talks inside the Situation Room this week. Trump, frustrated with stalled diplomatic efforts, has shifted toward a more hawkish stance and signaled that a "real end" to Iran’s nuclear ambitions—not a mere ceasefire—is now the goal.
Until this week, Trump had been wary of deeper involvement in Israel’s war against Iran. That changed after he abruptly left the G7 summit Monday, convened his security team, and made clear to both allies and adversaries that American patience was running out. On Tuesday, he posted to Truth Social demanding Iran’s "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER" and warning that U.S. military options were on the table. "We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding," Trump wrote, adding that strikes could come if Iran escalates.
Behind the scenes, the Pentagon has surged over 30 U.S. refueling tankers to the region, prepping for potential joint U.S.-Israel operations targeting Iran’s underground nuclear sites—a mission that requires U.S. bunker-busting munitions and air power. Israeli officials, who have long urged Trump to join the fight, are reportedly optimistic that the U.S. will back their push to cripple Iran’s program.
Trump’s pivot is a response not only to Iran’s stubborn refusal to negotiate but also to the risk that Tehran could lash out against American troops if the U.S. stays on the sidelines. Sources say Trump remains open to diplomacy, but only if Iran makes major concessions—something unlikely after Supreme Leader Khamenei vowed this week that Iran would not surrender.
As GOP hawks like Sen. Lindsey Graham lobby Trump to "go all in," others within Trump’s camp warn against triggering another endless war. Trump, though, sees action as consistent with his promise that Iran "will never have a nuclear weapon." A decision could come soon if Iran moves to target U.S. forces or if Israel escalates further. The world is watching—and Trump knows it.
Whoopi’s Iran Comparison Sparks Firestorm
The ladies of The View clashed Wednesday after Whoopi Goldberg argued that Black Americans face oppression in the U.S. equal to life under the Iranian regime. The bizarre claim came as co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin condemned Iran’s brutal record on human rights during a segment on the escalating Middle East conflict.
“Let’s remember, too, the Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings,” Griffin said, prompting Goldberg to fire back: “We’ve been known in this country to tie gay folks to cars… they used to just keep hanging Black people.”
When Griffin pressed that life in the U.S. is “very different in 2025 than in Iran,” Goldberg shot back, “Not if you’re Black!” The exchange quickly spiraled, with Sunny Hostin chiming in: “Not for everybody!”
Goldberg doubled down: “Every day we are worried. Do we have to be worried about our kids? Are our kids gonna get shot because they’re running through somebody’s neighborhood?”
Griffin tried to redirect: “There are places much darker than this country.” But Goldberg wouldn’t budge, citing the fact that Black Americans only gained full voting rights in 1965 as proof that systemic oppression persists.
Portland Anti-ICE Riot Crushed
Federal agents in Portland broke up a violent anti-ICE riot Wednesday night after a mob swarmed the city’s main immigration enforcement facility. The protesters—mostly masked and waving leftist slogans—rolled dumpsters in front of the entrance and hurled smoke grenades and fireworks at federal officers. Riot police responded with flash bangs, rubber bullets, and tear gas after the crowd ignored multiple warnings.
The standoff capped more than a week of escalating unrest around Portland’s Macadam Avenue ICE building. The chaos comes as the Department of Homeland Security is now investigating the source of funding behind similar riots in Los Angeles and other cities, which have spiked after Trump’s new mass deportation order.
In Portland, DHS confirmed at least five arrests on charges ranging from assault on federal officers to criminal trespass. A DHS spokesperson blasted the rioters for attempting to “blind officers with lasers” and vowed prosecutions would continue.
Federal officials also confirmed that assaults against law enforcement are up 413% over last year’s levels. Local police said they made additional arrests but clarified they were not engaged in immigration enforcement — only public safety around the protests.
Massive Smuggling Tunnel Shut Down
Border Patrol agents have discovered and sealed a nearly 3,000-foot drug smuggling tunnel running from Tijuana to San Diego—one of the most sophisticated yet found beneath the U.S.-Mexico border. The 50-foot-deep tunnel, equipped with lights, ventilation, and a rail system, was uncovered in early April beneath the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, with its projected U.S. exit inside a commercial San Diego warehouse.
Officials said the tunnel’s entrance—hidden beneath newly laid tile in a Tijuana residence—was located with the help of Homeland Security Investigations and Mexican authorities. U.S. Customs and Border Protection is preparing to pour thousands of gallons of concrete into the shaft to ensure it can’t be used by cartels or foreign terror groups.
This is just the latest in a long battle against tunnel-based trafficking: more than 95 similar smuggling tunnels have been shut down in the San Diego sector alone since 1993, according to CBP. The operation comes as Trump’s administration escalates border security, with military officials also reinforcing the border wall near San Diego earlier this spring.

Thanks for reading and staying sharp. The media will try to spin this as “Trump dragging us into war” — but it’s the same media that cheered Obama’s fake Iran deal and Biden’s total border collapse. We’ll keep calling out the lies. Stay tuned — because this ride isn’t slowing down. America needs truth-tellers now more than ever.
