Trump’s Bombs Hit Iran’s Nuclear Core—And the Left Still Pretends It’s 2015
The strike heard ‘round the world—and the media’s playing dumb.
Good Morning, it’s Sunday, June 22nd, 2025.
The gloves are off. After days of warning, President Trump ordered U.S. bombers to strike three key Iranian nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. The message couldn’t be clearer: no nukes for the Mullahs. As U.S. planes exited Iranian airspace, the President declared it a success and called for peace. The left, predictably, is melting down—while Iran vows retaliation. Welcome to the new reality.

US Strikes Iranian Nuclear Sites as Trump Declares: “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE”
President Trump unleashed US air power over Iran on Saturday night, announcing that American bombers had hit three critical Iranian nuclear sites—including the fortified Fordow complex buried deep in a mountainside.
In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump said, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
The announcement came just 48 hours after the White House said Trump would take up to two weeks to decide whether to enter the conflict. The attacks followed weeks of Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and leadership targets, and a string of retaliatory attacks from Tehran.
Trump is set to deliver a primetime address to the nation at 10 p.m. ET, after ordering what could be the first use of American “bunker-buster” bombs on Fordow—a facility previously considered out of reach without US firepower.
The strikes also defied voices within Trump’s own base—including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Steve Bannon—who had warned against getting entangled in another foreign conflict. But the president, long firm on his belief that Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon, appears to have calculated that a hard military strike was the only path forward.
Whether this will trigger broader Iranian retaliation or force Tehran back to the table remains to be seen. What’s clear is that Trump has now moved the US squarely into the center of the Middle East’s most dangerous conflict.
Left-Wing Activists Help Illegal Child Rapist Escape From ICE in Colorado
Federal agents in Colorado say a far-left activist group helped an illegal immigrant convicted of child rape escape arrest Friday morning—while ICE and FBI agents were actively attempting to take him into custody.
ICE Denver reported that agents were closing in on Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who is convicted of child rape in Italy and now faces deportation. But members of Colorado Rapid Response—a local anti-ICE activist network—showed up on the scene and allegedly tipped him off before agents could move in.
“During our surveillance of Leon, members of Colorado Rapid Response arrived on scene and alerted him to law enforcement’s presence which allowed him to escape arrest,” ICE posted on X.
The group openly boasts about its mission to interfere with ICE operations and offers a hotline for activists to “document” or obstruct deportation efforts. Their website says it’s dedicated to “resisting deportations” and “responding to raids” across the state.
ICE blasted the group’s actions, warning that they are putting communities at risk by helping violent criminals evade capture: “Groups like this interfere with ICE’s ability to keep communities safe,” the agency said. “If you know his whereabouts, do not approach—report all info to ICE.”
The incident comes as President Trump’s administration ramps up high-priority deportations of criminal illegals. Violent anti-ICE protests—particularly in left-wing cities—have been escalating in response. The DOJ also announced this week that new charges are coming against suspects involved in recent California anti-ICE riots.
ICE Nabs Child Rapists, Killers, Sex Offenders in Nationwide Sweep
Under Secretary Kristi Noem and DHS ramped up their campaign to deport violent criminal illegals this weekend—announcing a nationwide sweep that netted dozens of high-profile arrests, according to a Saturday press release provided to Newsmax.
ICE agents captured illegal aliens convicted of child molestation, homicide, and sexual assault across multiple states in coordinated operations. These arrests contribute to more than 100,000 criminal removals under the Trump administration so far this year.
“Child molesters. Murderers. Sex offenders. Our ICE officers put their lives on the line every day to arrest and remove these types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens from American communities,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow criminal illegal aliens to terrorize American citizens.”
Among those caught:
— In Atlanta, Honduran national Marlon Enrique Najar, convicted of child molestation.
— In Boston, Brazilian citizen Jusselo Dias Dos Reis, convicted of voluntary manslaughter.
— In Buffalo, Guatemalan Alvaro De Jesus Martinez Juarez, convicted of sexual conduct with a child.
— In Chicago, Mexican national Julian Silva-Ibbara, convicted of homicide.
— Nigerian citizen Oluwaseun Kassim, also in Chicago, convicted of aggravated sexual abuse.
One dramatic arrest unfolded in Bloomington, Minnesota, when ICE agents tried to detain Guatemalan child sex offender Roberto Carlos Munoz. Munoz allegedly attempted to flee during a traffic stop, dragging an officer nearly 50 yards with his vehicle before being subdued and taken into federal custody. The injured officer is expected to recover.
DHS says it will continue prioritizing removal of “the worst of the worst” to protect American communities.
Hegseth Guts DEI, Climate Waste as Pentagon Returns to Warfighting
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is doing exactly what Trump sent him to do: tear down 16 years of progressive rot inside the Pentagon and rebuild a military that wins wars—not social brownie points.
Since taking office, Hegseth has axed DEI programs, banned transgender enlistment, scrapped climate boondoggles, and cut top-heavy command bloat—all while redirecting billions toward cutting-edge weaponry and troop readiness. His blunt testimony before Congress this month made clear: the era of woke warfighting is over.
“DEI is dead,” Hegseth told the House Appropriations Subcommittee on June 10, vowing to restore a “warrior ethos.” He followed that by slashing four-star billets by 20%, folding bloated commands, and driving efficiency across every service branch.
An 8% budget cut hasn’t slowed him down. Hegseth has shifted $50 billion into AI-driven drones, hypersonic missiles, and advanced missile defense systems, including the new “Golden Dome for America.” He’s canceled 90+ climate projects and plowed those funds into munitions, live-fire training, and cyber warfighting units.
Even as the left howls, Hegseth doubled down on sending troops to the southern border for drone patrols and surveillance—training troops while defending the homeland.
This is what real Pentagon reform looks like: no more social experiments, no more waste—just lethality, speed, and readiness. Hegseth is burning down the old guard—and the troops are finally getting the tools they need to win.

Instead of condemning actions of the Colorado Rapid Response group, how about arresting them?
Count me among those who believe Iran is a loose cannon and cannot be trusted at all. I don't care if they're still 5 years away from developing a nuclear weapon, there's no doubt in my mind they're at the top of the list of countries that should never have one. Nothing in their behavior over the past 45 years suggests they would behave responsibly if they did.
