Trump Moves to Erase Biden’s Autopen Presidency — and Washington Is Panicking
From canceling autopen-signed orders to freezing Afghan visas after a deadly D.C. attack, Trump is ripping out the root system of Biden-era governance — and the fallout is immediate.
Good Morning, it’s Saturday, November 29th, 2025.
The walls are closing in on what Trump is now calling the “Biden Autopen Presidency.”
In the last 24 hours alone, Trump moved to terminate every executive action signed by Biden’s autopen, the State Department ordered an unprecedented global visa freeze on Afghan passport holders after a National Guardswoman was murdered in D.C., and federal agencies began quietly reversing a long list of 2021–2024 policies.
The old order is collapsing faster than the media can spin it, and today’s Briefing covers what happens next — and why the panic in Washington is real.
Autopen Orders “Hereby Terminated”
President Trump announced Friday that any executive orders or documents signed using Joe Biden’s autopen are now “terminated and of no further force or effect.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump said Biden’s staff — not Biden himself — authorized the autopen for roughly 92% of his official documents, calling the practice “illegal” without explicit presidential approval. Trump added that if Biden claims he personally authorized those signatures, he could face perjury charges.
The controversy stems from a Heritage Foundation report earlier this year that found the majority of Biden-era documents were autopen-signed, raising questions about who was actually directing executive action.
Congress has already been probing the issue. In October, the House Oversight Committee urged the DOJ to investigate whether Biden aides signed off on executive actions without his knowledge. Chairman James Comer said the findings confirm a “Biden Autopen Presidency” and that accountability is now required.
Trump says all such autopen-signed orders are now canceled.
Trump Floats Eliminating Federal Income Tax
President Trump said Thursday the U.S. may “completely” cut federal income taxes within the next few years, arguing that expanded tariff revenue could fully replace the current tax system. Speaking during his Thanksgiving address, he said America is finally positioned to shift away from a system he says has “ripped off” American workers for decades.
Trump has been hinting at this move since 2024, repeatedly pointing to the pre–income tax era of the 1890s, when tariffs funded most of the federal government. He recently told voters — including on Joe Rogan’s podcast — that he’s serious about transitioning to a tariff-based model.
Key Quote:
“The next couple of years I think we’ll be substantially cutting — and maybe cutting out completely — income tax… because the money we’re going to be taking in is so large.”
Takeaway: Trump is signaling a historic shift: replacing the federal income tax with tariff revenue is now on the table — and he says it could happen sooner than people expect.

State Dept Orders Global Visa Freeze on Afghan Passport Holders
The State Department issued an emergency directive Friday ordering all U.S. embassies and consulates to refuse visas for Afghan nationals using Afghan passports, citing urgent security concerns following the murder of two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C. The guidance requires officers to deny all visa categories — including Afghan SIVs — until updated vetting protocols are in place.
The move follows the deadly Thanksgiving-week attack in which an Afghan migrant admitted under Biden’s 2021 Operation Allies Welcome program fatally shot Guardswoman Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and critically wounded Andrew Wolfe, 24, less than a day after they were sworn in. The State Department says the suspension is necessary to re-verify identities and address potential gaps in Biden-era screening.
Key Stat: Every visa for Afghan nationals using Afghan passports must now be refused, spoiled, or reopened and denied, even if already approved but not yet delivered.
Takeaway: After the D.C. attack, the U.S. government is moving fast — Afghan visas are effectively frozen worldwide until Trump’s enhanced vetting system is finalized.
