Thirteen Blocks Deep and Still No Government
Shutdown hits Day 29 as Democrats demand Balkan pride flags before paychecks.
Good Morning, it’s Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.
Government workers are going hungry, air traffic is snarled, and military families are bracing for missed pay. But Democrats? They just blocked a 13th GOP-led bill to reopen the government — and they’re holding out for feminist grants in Africa and rainbow subsidies in Europe.
Speaker Johnson is calling BS. House investigators are torching the Biden era. And now even some Democrats are whispering what we all know: this shutdown is a political stunt — and Americans are the collateral damage.
👇 If that doesn’t deserve to be shared with one politically homeless friend, what does?

Thirteen Blocks, Zero Budget
Democrats dig in, demand Obamacare subsidies before funding the government.
They could’ve voted to reopen the government. Instead, Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked the 13th House-passed funding bill, dragging the shutdown into dangerous new territory — with food assistance, military pay, and air travel now on the chopping block.
🔻 What you need to know:
• The GOP-backed bill would’ve kept the lights on through November 21.
• It failed 54–45 — short of the 60 votes needed to advance.
• Only three Dem-aligned senators broke ranks: Fetterman, Cortez Masto, and Angus King.
Chuck Schumer? He wants more than a clean bill. He’s using the moment to demand extensions to Obamacare subsidies — even as union leaders beg for a resolution.

“Americans are on the brink of a health care crisis unlike we have seen in our lifetimes,” Schumer warned before the vote.
Republican Leader John Thune wasn’t buying it.
“The path forward is clear: reopen the government now. Debate the rest after,” Thune said, quoting Everett Kelley, head of the largest federal workers union in the country.
Why It Matters:
• Democrats are holding millions of Americans hostage over a health care side deal.
• Air traffic control is thinning. SNAP benefits expire in 3 days.
• Military paychecks? Treasury says it’ll run out by Nov. 15.
• And the Federal Reserve is flying blind — with no labor or economic data available due to the shutdown.
What They Don’t Want You To See:
📢 “Reopen the government immediately under a clean continuing resolution…”
— Everett Kelley, President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), 10/27/25
That’s a union leader, not a Republican.
Bottom Line:
Democrats aren’t negotiating — they’re extorting. Americans are suffering while Schumer holds out for an Obamacare bailout. Thirteen blocks in, this isn’t a strategy. It’s sabotage.
Speaker Johnson: DEI Demands = Shutdown Ransom
$4M for LGBTQI+ awareness abroad while air traffic grinds to a halt at home.
Speaker Mike Johnson isn’t mincing words: the reason Democrats keep blocking clean funding bills isn’t just Obamacare subsidies — it’s their addiction to globalist DEI pork.
In a blistering statement, Johnson outlined the real ransom list behind Schumer’s holdup:
$4M for global LGBTQI+ awareness campaigns
$4M for LGBTQI+ democracy grants in the Balkans
$2M for feminist “democratic principles” in Africa
“We’re not doing that,” Johnson said. “Republicans are demanding literally nothing. Just reopen the government.”
He wasn’t done.
Johnson accused Democrats of fearing “Marxist insurgents” like Zohran Mamdani (a NYC socialist House Dems are now openly endorsing) more than they care about federal workers, soldiers, or starving families.
“They will appease that base at any cost, no matter how much pain’s inflicted,” he warned.
Even the largest federal workers union — the American Federation of Government Employees — sided with Republicans, calling on Dems to end the standoff and pass the CR.
Bottom Line:
The left’s shutdown demands include rainbow grants in the Balkans while Americans miss paychecks. DEI has officially replaced GDP as the Democrats’ obsession.
Think mass surveillance is a future threat?
It’s not. This unredacted report reveals how foreign allies and private firms are already running the playbook — and why most Americans never realize it’s happening until it’s too late.
House Committee: Biden’s Autopen Pardons Were Illegal
New report: 75% of pardons, 59% of EOs weren’t signed by Biden — and they’re void.
While Democrats cry “chaos” over the shutdown, Republicans just dropped a grenade on Biden’s legacy: a 100-page House Oversight report declaring hundreds of his executive orders and pardons invalid — because he never signed them.
Turns out, Biden’s presidency may have been run by a staff-led shadow government armed with a robot pen.
Inside the numbers:
75% of pardons, including for Fauci, Milley, and Jan. 6 allies — autopen.
59.2% of executive orders? Autopen.
96.3% of presidential proclamations — also not signed by Biden.
Of 51 clemency warrants reviewed, 32 had no direct link to Biden at all.
“We, as a nation, operated for years without a functioning president,” the watchdog Oversight Project declared.
The report accuses Biden aides — including Kevin O’Connor, Anthony Bernal, and Annie Tomasini — of unlawfully wielding presidential power while Biden was reportedly on vacation or unable to recall what he had “signed.”
Former Idaho Solicitor General Theo Wold confirmed: these acts can’t be delegated. “The president actually has to make the decision.”
The DOJ under AG Pam Bondi has launched a formal investigation.
Comer: “They colluded to sustain the appearance of presidential authority as Biden’s capacity diminished.”
Bottom Line:
The Biden White House ran on autopilot — literally. Now, hundreds of executive actions may be wiped from history. What the media won’t say: this wasn’t incompetence. It was a quiet coup.

The Shutdown That Fed No One
Thirteen bills blocked.
Millions unpaid.
Democrats won’t budge without Obamacare cash.
Even union bosses are pleading to reopen.
This isn’t policy — it’s sabotage.
Exactly what The Ledger has been documenting — the regime’s war on its own payroll.
👉 Upgrade and see how shutdown politics became economic warfare.
29 days in, the American people aren’t hostages to budget negotiations — they’re hostages to ideology. DEI funding, fake signatures, and fear of the far-left are steering the Democratic Party straight into a wall.
We were told the adults were back in charge. Turns out the pen was back in charge — and no one remembers who programmed it.
The only thing more dangerous than a broken government is a party that prefers it that way.
~ Scott 🇺🇸
P.S. This isn’t about funding the government. It’s about funding control — cultural, institutional, and global. When Democrats block military pay but beg for Balkan LGBTQ grants, it’s not budget policy. It’s worldview warfare.
Now I want your take: Should autopen laws change? Should Democrats face legal blowback for dragging this shutdown out?
