They say the Epstein files don’t exist—but too many people know too damn much.
Dershowitz knows the names. Burchett says Biden torched the evidence. And the media just wants you to forget.
Good Morning, it’s Friday, July 11th, 2025.
The Epstein cover-up saga isn’t over—it’s getting darker. Biden’s DOJ claims there’s no client list. Dershowitz says he knows who’s on it but can’t talk. And a sitting Congressman just accused the administration of destroying the files. All while Trump’s team tries to move on. No, we’re not letting this go. Not when the stakes are this high, and the corruption this blatant.
Want the full breakdown of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill”? You’ll only find it in this week’s issue of The Ledger. We expose the power moves, pork, and priorities that didn’t make the headlines—but will reshape America.

Files? What files? Burchett says the Biden DOJ torched the Epstein evidence
Rep. Tim Burchett didn’t mince words this week when he accused the Biden administration of destroying the Jeffrey Epstein files. Speaking on NewsNation, the Tennessee Republican said he believes “the files existed at one time,” but “they were destroyed in the previous administration.”
According to Burchett, if there had been anything linking Donald Trump to Epstein, the Biden administration “would’ve had it out day one.” Instead, we’re left with a Department of Justice memo that declares—almost smugly—that there’s no client list, no blackmail material, and no remaining evidence that Epstein did anything beyond operate solo and commit suicide in a high-security prison cell surrounded by every camera malfunction known to man.
Burchett’s theory echoes growing public frustration after last week’s DOJ-FBI joint memo effectively declared the Epstein case closed. Critics have hammered Attorney General Pam Bondi for backpedaling, with many citing her earlier comments about the client list “sitting on her desk.” Now, even that list seems to have vanished, along with any meaningful pursuit of the powerful people who flew on the infamous plane and visited Epstein’s island.
Burchett didn’t stop at speculation—he all but accused the administration of a cover-up. “Would it have caused economic disruption around the globe? Maybe, but I don’t really care,” he said. “I want to bury those dirtbags.”
This comes on the heels of mounting public outrage after Attorney General Bondi walked back earlier comments about explosive files, instead claiming they were largely child pornography and couldn’t legally be released. But as critics like Robby Starbuck and Russell Brand have asked: if the material really is that criminal, who else was in those videos—and why haven’t they been arrested?
Burchett also called out Bondi, suggesting she “got out over her skis” and that the real files likely “don’t exist anymore.” It’s the kind of statement that either signals incompetence—or a full-blown cover-up.
After years of anticipation, millions of Americans feel duped. And when you combine a closed case, a shredded paper trail, and a client list that keeps mysteriously disappearing, the question becomes: what exactly are they so afraid we’ll find?
America First in Action: Trump’s HHS Slams the Brakes on Illegal Aliens Draining Taxpayer Funds
In a sweeping reversal of long-standing federal policy, the Trump administration announced Thursday that illegal immigrants will no longer be eligible for taxpayer-funded federal benefits through Health and Human Services programs. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called the move “a restoration of integrity,” while slamming previous administrations for incentivizing lawlessness.
At the heart of the shift is a decision to rescind the Clinton-era interpretation of the 1996 Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which the Trump team says was twisted in 1998 to unlawfully grant benefits to those in the country illegally. For over two decades, that reinterpretation allowed illegal aliens to access programs like Head Start and Title X. Thursday’s announcement shuts the door on that loophole, reaffirming the original congressional intent: federal public benefits are for American citizens.
“This department is committed to protecting resources that serve America’s most vulnerable,” said Andrew Gradison, acting Assistant Secretary at the Administration for Children and Families. The HHS estimates the reversal will free up roughly $374 million annually, reallocated to families who actually qualify for the benefits—namely, American citizens. Programs impacted include behavioral health centers, homelessness grants, family planning clinics, and community services funding.
The change also aligns with President Trump’s February executive order, “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders”. HHS made clear that no programs have been formally exempted from PRWORA’s restrictions, a pointed jab at the way previous administrations quietly bypassed the law.
“For too long, the government has diverted hardworking Americans’ tax dollars to incentivize illegal immigration,” Kennedy said. “Today’s action changes that.”
And with the new policy in place, the message is unmistakable: if you’re here illegally, the free ride is over.
Rubio Rips Media for Faking Ukraine Aid Story: ‘It Was a Pause, Not a Betrayal’
The media wanted another Trump-Ukraine scandal—so they invented one.
While legacy outlets foamed at the mouth over claims that the Trump administration was quietly cutting off military aid to Ukraine, Secretary of State Marco Rubio took just 30 seconds to blow the whole narrative to pieces. “It was a pause pending review on a handful of specific type munitions,” Rubio said Thursday. “That’s logical after an extended engagement.” He added it was a “very limited review,” meant to ensure the U.S. had enough weapons on hand, especially after ramping up operations in the Middle East.
The media meltdown started over Independence Day weekend when reporters grilled Trump about rumors of halted shipments of rockets and shells to Ukraine. The New York Post even ran a panicked op-ed demanding Trump “re-arm Ukraine,” and CNN’s Kaitlan Collins tried to corner him again during Tuesday’s cabinet meeting. The story got legs thanks to anonymous leaks to the AP, which claimed Trump was “embarrassed” by the pause and frustrated with the Pentagon.
But according to Ukraine’s own leadership, the shipments have resumed—and Trump’s pressure on Russia is working. “We would be happy if… President Trump helps us to achieve a just and strong, durable peace,” said Andriy Yermak, a top advisor to President Zelensky. He added that Trump was “disturbed” by recent drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and made it clear that U.S. support isn’t drying up—it’s being sharpened.
Rubio didn’t just call the media narrative wrong. He called it intentional mischaracterization.
And here’s the kicker: the press isn’t mad about aid. They’re mad that Trump isn’t doing it their way. But guess what? Ukraine’s getting support, the Pentagon’s not leaking cash like it did under Biden, and we’re not handing out missiles like candy to NGOs in Kiev. That’s called strategy—something this administration actually understands.
The Epstein Smoke Still Rises—and Dershowitz Just Fanned the Flames
Alan Dershowitz says he knows the names—but we can’t see them. Why?
In a jaw-dropper of an interview Thursday, famed attorney Alan Dershowitz told Sean Spicer that he knows who’s on Jeffrey Epstein’s suppressed client list. “I know the names of the individuals. I know why they’re being suppressed. I know who’s suppressing them,” he said. But there’s a catch—Dershowitz claims he’s bound by confidentiality and court orders that prevent him from spilling the names tied to one of the most notorious sex trafficking operations in modern history.
He’s not just speculating either—Dershowitz has been in the legal trenches of this scandal for years, even being falsely accused himself. But what he said next hit like a freight train: the names are being kept under wraps “to protect” the people involved. Not for legal reasons. Not for national security. To protect them. Let that sink in.
The Trump administration pledged to release all documents and names connected to Epstein’s inner circle earlier this year. But so far, we’ve gotten memos claiming there is no client list, nothing incriminating, and that Epstein acted alone. The White House is holding that line, even as survivors like Sigrid McCawley—who represents several victims—say it’s a blatant lie. “There’s a treasure trove of information, and they’re not turning it over,” she said on NewsNation.
Even Elon Musk threw fuel on the fire this week, sarcastically reminding followers that Trump was once friends with Epstein, after mocking Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.” The president tried to wave it all away in a press conference: “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? … This creep?” But the issue isn’t going anywhere.
Especially now that Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, is dead—suicide after a long illness and years of trauma. McCawley says Epstein couldn’t have operated alone. He needed fixers, accountants, pilots, lawyers. “None of those people have been prosecuted.”
We’re either witnessing the slow, strategic disclosure of the most protected secret in elite circles—or the complete collapse of justice. Either way, Dershowitz just blew the lid open again. The real question is: will anyone finally name names? Or are they betting we just stop asking?

P.S.
If they really destroyed the Epstein files, we deserve to know who did it—and why. And if Dershowitz is telling the truth, it means a judge somewhere is actively protecting monsters. What do you think: Is this suppression, self-preservation, or straight-up treason?
