When the illusion finally broke — and the country realized the problem wasn’t “division,” it was deception.
There’s a moment in every adult’s life where you stop trying to impress people you don’t respect.
For America, that moment came this year.
It didn’t happen overnight. It wasn’t one election, one scandal, one speech, or one viral clip — it was a slow, grinding burnout of trust. A national breaking point. A collective exhale that sounded a lot like:
“You know what? I’m not pretending anymore.”
And once that switch flips, it doesn’t flip back.
THE SILENT TRUTH EVERYONE FELT BUT NOBODY SAID OUT LOUD
For decades, Americans were told to “trust the process.”
Trust the institutions.
Trust the experts.
Trust the media.
Trust the people in suits who swear they’re looking out for you.
But people aren’t stupid.

The public’s BS threshold evaporated, and the ruling class mistook that for danger.

Maybe it was watching a politician lie with a smile and realizing they didn’t even care if you knew.
Maybe it was seeing the media sync up in perfect unison, parroting the same lines within minutes.

“If this isn’t working for us… who is it working for?”

Americans aren’t looking for perfect candidates or polished pundits anymore.

and someone who talks to them, not at them

The establishment thinks people are losing faith because they’re confused.
No.
People are losing faith because they finally understand.
And once a nation sees the game, the game can’t continue.
This is the year Americans stopped pretending.
And the people in power can feel it.
What little faith I still had in media evaporated the day I saw a clip where 200 TV talking heads said exactly the same thing. That's not Journaliam, it's brain washing.
I knew in 2015 when all media all over tge world turned on Trump and what he and he supporters stands for.
I've a friend in the USA who hates Trump.
He was complaining that some of his friends lost their jobs because they were working in public sector it seemed ironic that he seemed to forget that Biden killed a project that were a brought in tens of thousands of jobs bringing a pipeline in through Canada in 2020.
It was one of his first decisions.
