Peace Talks Are a Lie. It’s Time for America to Walk Away.
The Ukraine peace talks are a stalling tactic—and America’s being played.
For over three years, the United States has played mediator, financier, and arms dealer in the Russia-Ukraine war—while pretending peace was just one more summit away.
We’ve sent envoys. Held summits. Cut checks.
And what have we gotten?
More war. More betrayal. More demands.
It’s time to stop pretending.
It’s time to walk away.
The Peace Talks Were Never Real
It started in 2022. Russia and Ukraine met in Istanbul.
Ukraine offered neutrality. Russia said it would pull back.
The media called it a breakthrough.
Then Bucha happened.
Russian troops slaughtered civilians while pretending to negotiate. The deal died overnight.
In 2023, Turkey and Saudi Arabia hosted more talks. Forty countries showed up.
Russia didn’t.
Nothing changed.
Then came 2025. Trump returned, vowing to end the war. Istanbul again.
Putin no-showed. Zelenskyy refused to dignify Russia’s stand-in delegates.
Russia launched fresh attacks before the tables were cleared.
Every “peace talk” follows the same pattern:
Smile for the cameras. Say the right things. Reload.
Both Sides Used the Talks as Cover
Let’s drop the fantasy. These weren’t negotiations—they were tactics.
Russia:
Uses ceasefires to reposition and stall
Offers “truces” while launching drones
Demands Ukraine surrender its future—no NATO, no sovereignty, no resistance
Ukraine:
Publicly asks for peace; privately stalls to keep U.S. aid flowing
In 2025, a Zelenskyy aide said the quiet part out loud:
“Say what Trump wants to hear. Just keep Washington engaged.”
The U.S.?
We’ve been the useful idiot. Hosting talks. Cutting checks. Getting played.
$175 Billion Later—What Did We Buy?
Since 2022, the U.S. has spent $175 billion trying to prop up Ukraine and negotiate peace. That’s more than the Marine Corps’ entire budget.
While we paid:
2 million illegal crossings hit our southern border
Fentanyl flooded our cities
Inflation crushed working-class families
China escalated in the Pacific
And still—no peace.
No victory.
No end in sight.
Meanwhile, Europe stalls. NATO strains. Allies squabble over who pays what.
We’re bleeding credibility, bleeding cash, and bleeding influence.
Why It’s Time to Walk Away
Here’s the truth no one wants to say out loud:
America can’t afford to babysit this war any longer.
Our borders come first.
While we protect Ukraine’s, ours is overrun. That’s not “foreign policy.” That’s betrayal.
Our economy needs oxygen.
We’re $36 trillion in debt. Every new Ukraine aid package is stolen from our veterans, our schools, and our infrastructure.
Our enemies are watching.
China sees us stuck in the mud. Iran is testing red lines. Deterrence doesn’t die in one blow—it bleeds out over time. And we’re bleeding.
Our credibility is gone.
We say we support Ukraine “unwaveringly,” but we’re not sending troops or enforcing red lines. That’s not resolve—it’s strategic indecision.
If we walk away now, we send a new message:
America’s power is focused. Not scattered. Not endlessly hijacked.
“But If We Leave…”
Critics warn:
“If America walks, Russia wins. NATO weakens. China strikes.”
Here’s the truth:
Russia is advancing—while we’re still involved
NATO is cracking—despite our billions
China is emboldened—because we’re distracted
Staying hasn’t stopped the bleeding. It’s made us the donor.
Walking away doesn’t mean abandoning the world.
It means prioritizing our security, our economy, our future.
Let Europe Lead—And Let Us Refocus
Trump and Rubio said it best:
“If progress doesn’t happen fast, we’re going to take a pass.”
Good.
Let Germany and France hold the next round.
Let Poland and the Baltics rise.
America has done its part. More than its part.
Now it’s time to rebuild the republic at home.
We’ve Had Enough
No more summits.
No more staged ceasefires.
No more cash pipelines to a war with no endgame.
“Every summit is a lie. Every peace talk is a stall tactic. Every dollar we send is one less for our border, our cities, our future. It’s time to walk away.”

We don’t need another summit.
We need a spine.
It’s time to walk away.
Absolutely. I'd also like the USA to call the UK's bluff and show Starmer up for the consummate liar and fool that he is.
It would put the WEF cat amongst the pigeons too. Let's see all the big shots like Macron and the EU put their money where their mouth is, for once.
How much do they value the Ukraine?
Not at all - they just need the money-go-round to keep moving so they can purloin cash for themselves, justify bigger EU budgets from the rest of us suckers and pretend they wield power.
What a bunch of useless morons.
This entire article is dishonest. It makes me want to puke all over it. Biden owns that shit show in Ukraine and all the money laundering that went with it. Pretend for a second in your smaller than average mind that the Ukraine was Canada and Russia was amassing forces on the border of America and banning English language and regularly bombing the cities on the border because they were not supporting Russia to do this. You have to pull your head out of your ass and realize the fucking reality of the situation.
You know Russias nuclear arsenal is larger than ours
Right?
